William Wong said in February 26, 2022: Pretty fun game. The gameplay is basically autochess with roguelike elements. If you’ve played HS Battlegrounds, you’ll understand how the game works. The variety of units lets you build flexible comps but your hero’s skills will push you to build a specific comp anyway. The exceptions are renegade heroes who focus on mixed tribes. Balance isn’t the best since units and heroes range from really weak to overpowered but the challenge of making something work out is incredibly fun and rewarding.

The commanders offer a variety of playstyles to keep the game fresh and your deck being your life can lead to some interesting decisions such as taking a simply strong card even though it isn’t part of your combo. Very satisfying when you manage to win.
